My student dorm was a converted Soviet tenement and in the lot behind us was a power substation right next to some dilapidated looking storage units and one wrong electrical arc would've meant it all went up in flames along wth my building too (maybe) We had a key lady who would berate the piss out of me every time i would stumble in at 3am and harangue me down the hallway to my room lmao. i feared the key ladies more than anything else because if they were in a bad mood that day they would just pretend they didnt hear you banging on the door from the stairwell landing and youd have to sleep in the stairs like a common mobik

The last count was that the Belarusian partisans have been responsible for at least 80 claimed sabotage acts, usually just by setting poo poo on fire. Partisan hackers have also broken into the railway computer systems and broke poo poo in there too by disrupting schedules at transfer points, while simultaneously wrecking the signal equipment. It totally fucks the rails because all of this has to be extremely precisely timed or you get, well, train crashes and derailments and things stuck where you dont want them to be and your logistics network collapsed at the railway. I know this is getting kind of off-topic but there hasn't been much significant war news and I can stop posting about my time in Russia if its bothersome! WW2 is a huge thing there, I'm sure we are all aware of that now. Did you know its such a big thing they just let you sometimes wear fully functional equipment? they told me to stand still and they turned me into a red army mobik and then just handed me a fully functional PPsh and uh, a live grenade (yes this is me feel free to make fun lol)   multiple grenades grenades for everyone in fact  they let us walk out with these grenades and just said not to pull the pin and if we do throw it really fast because the fuze might not be reliably 4 seconds anymore. i didnt know what to do with mine and i didnt wanna go up to a policeman and say "excuse me i have a live grenade can you help me" so i left it with the key lady when i got back and asked her to get rid of it for me e: it did occur to me that the grenades were in all likelihood probably defused and we were getting ribbed but uh, who would want to try and verify it..? I hung out with a lemur in Novgorod. (and don't take bribes I transfered into the dorms at my 4 year at 21 and there was a floor specifically for transfer students who could and were allowed to drink, which consistently confused our RA (he didn't really care he just kept forgetting that this one floor was different). I then moved out into the basement room of a frat I was not a member of and in no way was associated with, which was an interesting experience.
