This new system for pool 3 cards in the token shop is almost as bad as the old version. Just give me a list of ones I dont have yet so I can pick instead of hoping one I want shows up.

I had a genuine l o l when I saw that the “pick a free s3 card!” was ALSO a loving rotating shop Thank god I’m s3 complete and pretty content to just let stuff trickle down so I can keep paying my 6k token tax to the bad villain cards I don’t really want anyway

I've been running that. It's absolutely a risk that makes your play super obvious, but tends to work more often than not. By the time you have that combo out all they can do is Cosmo or Goblin you, really, so it's not too bad

Are there stats for how often Nimrod is being used? I've maybe seen an opponent play him once or twice this season. I tried early on but couldn't get him to work.

Snap.fan puts him at about 9% usage no matter how I move the data around. He's a card that is usually played alongside a better strategy so he tends to sit and rot in hands a lot - he probably isnt played out most of the time.

Fun fact you would have won with even just one shuri in the middle lane since 26 is enough to win both lanes. And here I am being a dumb rear end trying to make Zabu/Psylock ramp Mr Negative out early so I can play a 0/5 Iron Man followed by a Mystique for a total of like 26 power if I draw the right cards in the exact right order every 10th game. Should have just picked Shuri Red Skull. Good thing the Shuri experts are assuring me that she is perfectly balanced, phew I would hate to lie awake at night worrying about that. If an effect is fundamentally too strong at 4 energy you move it to 5 energy or rework the effect. I have no idea why Shuri has become this insane waterloo thats dominated the game for 3 months or that preserving the soul of any card could be worth that. Makes no sense to me. Hand wringing about how she absolutely needs to both be 4 and have the same effect does not do anything it is not a solution it is just words she will still dominate the game next week.

Now that I'm Pool 3 complete and have 6k tokens, I'm entirely undecided on who to buy (of the Thanos, Galactus, Kang crowd). Pre-nerf, I'd have said Thanos, but to be honest, I'm bad at the game and will just mess up the stones. Galactus might be OK, but I'm missing Knull for the follow-up punch. And Kang just sounds a bit boring (and I don't really see him fitting into many decks... although the Aero slot has slightly freed up in many, I guess)...

I was excited for Nimrod Galactus but I didn't feel like it was consistent enough. Also in regards to some other comments I am to lazy to find on my phone, imo: * Shuri is good in Galactus with Knull. Pump up something, make a lane a threat, hopefully they waste their Shang Chi. Boost a 0 cost Death. Either way, that bonus power is going somewhere. * I like all three of psylocke, Electro and wave in a galactus deck.
