Hexare has a Comstar presence, and there was a loading tip that suggested this gives the potential for LosTech. Of the available options, that probably makes it one of the best. IIRC, "Battlefield" leads to better contracts, too.

Getting in close then using cooling vent for a an alpha stroke into the opponent's rear is exactly what I wanted for Soylent. At this point I'd like to keep working on piloting and gunnery in whatever order makes sense.

the Leopard Incident from a few weeks ago gave me a new minigame to play - on the mission where you escort three newbies to capture a base, i try and get them all squashed when the mission ends. it blows up all their stuff but never kills them. i am teaching them the valuable lesson of: these mercenaries can be real jerks  i can't remember if the variant where it's a battle and they have to survive has a dropship landing - if i can find one that does, i want to test if i can win and then fail the mission at the same time
