It's pretty easy to watch most dramas or sitcoms when driving since most of them aren't much more than radio plays. Watching movies is way harder, ranging from fairly easy romcoms to difficult to watch action movies.

Of course that's for city driving. On the interstate, especially west of the Mississippi, movies of all types are fine

She should have raised a heifer because at least those go into milk production (well, after the year if being a first calf heifer) and you don't feel as bad about your animal friend going off to die.

It was funny seeing some show pigs at the Wisconsin state fair and the people walking them holding boards between them. My spouse asked why and I said it's because the pigs know they're going to be killed and they want to kill humans before they lose the chance. Right then a pig lunged at someone and tried to break his kneecap but failed

I hated the sheep I raised but liked the heifers, until steers broke out of an adjacent pen and raped my heifer to death via splaying. Most gruesome thing I've seen in my life. I don't remember who cleaned up the carcass, I know I couldn't handle it at like age 12.

Wow, what they’re saying is these tourist destinations only want a limited number of rich assholes to come visit. Poors and middle class should just stay home, toil away at their jobs and never travel. Banning cruise ships in Venice is actually a good thing but creating bullshit timed fees and bookings and such is not the same.

Airline prices to Europe are astronomical this summer, ridiculously overpriced for worse service. My salary didn’t increase to cover the dramatic increase/inflation and so it’s only going to get more expensive. These prices are never coming down again either so at some point travel will just be for the extremely wealthy.

Not sure how airline survive with that model but good luck!

Are you really expecting long term thinking out of the MBAs leading the world? As long as it juices revenue now, they'll have their bonuses and stock options and golden parachute. The rest is the next executive's problem. (They'll just boost revenue for a couple quarters too)

The cops in my city straight up said they aren't doing traffic enforcement anymore because they "don't have enough officers for it," I guess in some kind of attempt to beg for/extort more money from the city, so the streets here are, unsurprisingly, an utterly lawless wasteland. Speeding, red light running, flat out ignoring signs/lanes, and just generally pulling insane Mad Max poo poo. I don't know what the solution is, but it feels like publicly announcing "lol go ahead and do whatever" was not the right play.

Rising cost of living forces more families to buy groceries with credit

Shadyside financial coach Shay Port recently counseled a woman who was so strapped for cash she had to buy all of her groceries through companies offering buy now, pay later credit services.

Although the client, a Pittsburgh woman, was only buying groceries and everyday necessities on credit, her installment payments had grown to more than $400 a week.

“She was trapped in a vicious cycle,” said Ms. Port, owner of Financial Wellness with Shay Port. “The only way she could afford to buy more groceries was to keep using buy now, pay later the next week.”

More Americans are choosing to go in debt rather than go hungry.

Buying groceries online and at retail grocery stores through buy now, pay later services grew by a whopping 40% in the first two months of this year compared to the same time last year, according to Adobe. That’s compared to a 14% drop in electronics purchases and an 8% uptick in apparel sales.

All of the major Pittsburgh area grocers have embraced the growing trend. O’Hara-based Giant Eagle, Kuhns and Aldi allow customers to make buy now, pay later purchases at the register. The grocery bill gets spread out over four interest-free installment payments, typically over six weeks.

Everything is fine.

Then they’ll get bailed out by governments! How much loving money did governments give airlines during COVID?

I’m sure it’s a result of them losing so many pilots and stewardesses due to dropping precautions and also the vaccine requirements. Whose fault is that? They dropped precautions and people didn’t want to work and those who did got sick and couldn’t work

The CDC changed Covid isolation guidance from ten days to five days after the CEO of Delta wrote them a lovely letter, which should illustrate who exactly is in charge here.

theres nothing to catch. just say you eat separately lol. you think they got people lookin at your meals? they're not married so they're filing seperately to begin with. i'd have to look at medicaid requirements but household is a pretty flexible term. just open up two bank accounts and say ur roomates. w/e do fraud its easy

‘household income’ is defined by the filer. not by if your in the same unit. if they file separately then theyre two households. like i said depends on how they filed. pretty easy just to be a single person household even if your paying 0 in rent and utilities etc then just get full benefits. itd probably screw over food stanps due ti work req but be able to keep medicaid or w/e wheelchair dudes got
