Healthier and ensures your home doesn't smell like poo poo. Cut russet potatoes into your favorite shape. I usually do steak fry or thick traditional fry shapes. Toss with olive oil. Hit with spice blend. I am partial to Montreal steak seasoning. Put on parchment paper and get them in the oven at 400 for 40 minutes, flipping once after ~25 minutes. Cook to desired doneness. You can also do poo poo like boiling them before baking but it's not worth the time IMO.

Super poor and probably horrible healthcare access. You can also see a dark blue blip right in the “angle” of Nevada on the west and that’s Lake Tahoe, so it’s probably a bunch of ultra rich lol.

It seem more like big agribusiness would do this even without regulation. I'm curious if mandating it allows business to demand more federal funding to refurbish old store houses though. I can't find any news about this regulation though. edit: There are USDA recommendations and research on commercial food storage though, and that has tables on refrigeration. Could be USDA published recommendations in 2013 that more farms are following. Deadly Ham Sandwich has issued a correction as of 16:15 on Apr 2, 2023 |

I'd be really surprised if they couldn't just call the dean/president and make a $750,000 donation to get their kid in, trying to do it "legit" via hiring a consultant to tell your kid to join clubs or whatever reeks of ignorance. You're a 1%er dummy! You don't have to do it legit!

You talk to people who work in these places and it's mind-boggling how dysfunctional they are internally, but they have so much money flying around that it doesn't matter. Basically the organizational equivalent of someone buying a new car every time the old one gets dirty.

To my recollection, they are not expensive. Did something happen to potatoes? Are we in a potato famine? Nearly all snacks are skyrocketing in price while having their packaging shrunk down and the ingredients/recipes changed. I got a box of Wheat Thins Bigs the other week to use for a dip -- it was like $5 for 8oz and the chips are half as thin as they used to be. I'm just not gonna bother anymore with pretty much anything processed.

The Brands realized people will keep eating that garbage no matter what so they'll do poo poo like give you ten oreos for five dollars and the little piggy americans will empty their couch cushions for change. capitalism and economics teaches that Other Brands will simply sell more cookies for lower prices to get a Competitive Advantage, but in reality they'll sell the same amount for ten cents less and reap the same insane margins
