Some of the others have pretty frustrating maps but it never gets as bad as the endless identical twisty paths on the salmon pink void of e again thank you. i guess what i'm also asking is if (as i vaguely remember) the games drag on a lot, and if there's a lot of random battles with trash enemies, and if they are 20-30 hours because they're stretched out with a lot of padding.

For 95% of the games it's not a real problem, it's when you're the kind of dipshit who wants 100% of chips and treasures that you end up grinding disgusting amounts where speedup helps. TBH I have less tolerance for grinding than when I was a kid, but still have stupid completionism so I will hopefully just find a Dave editor or trainer to get me those dumbass rare chips in the underneath or whatever.

I recently discovered that keysellers are doing us a public service when I bought the W40K Dawn of War Master Collection for $4 instead of the $37 base price. so now all the games on my docket for each platform are: Switch: Shiren the Wanderer - Really good! I had only played this series briefly before but this is proving to be the best out of all the Mystery Dungeons, mechanically. One of those games where I will have to make a choice on whether to spend a very fun 500 hours mastering it after credits roll, or if I should do Other Things With My Life PS4: Resonance of Fate - best dress-up mechanics out of any non-multiplayer game. straight-up. only got one-third through the game last time I started it up but this time I'm in it for the long haul. gun-based JRPG combat, and it's fun, folks. maybe not if you hate weird non-standard battle systems PC: Warhammer 40000 Dawn of War - I played lots of Dark Crusade in the past but never touched much of anything else in the series. maybe now that I'm no longer a little kid that needs walkthroughs to play RTSs, I'll get somewhere at least, I'll be playing all that when my hand pain subsides. I'm having a really weird strain of maybe-tendonitis that only comes out when I do a scrolling motion on my phone, and I want to be cautious edit: come on, look at it

Just started Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth.
