I was reading the IMDB trivia for Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol and there was this little detail buried in itquote:Around the time this movie was made, a full-motion Police Academy video game was also filmed with the original cast, for Hasbro's NEMO console. According to developer Mark Turmell, the game was "essentially a lost Police Academy movie" which had multiple story paths that the player could choose. Unfortunately, the funding ceased when Hasbro decided not to proceed with the console. Does anybody know any more about this? Or could point me to some places to find more information? Has any of the footage surfaced?

somebody in Games hooked me up with the deets, that Police Academy was entirely filmed, and the footage still exists. There just needs to be some incitement to actually take it and turn it into the game. Which, with modern technology, would be quite simple.

it's probably just Night Trap footage they reused. Except the panty raiding cops became vampires

We'll also never get to play that FMV 3DO game where Rudy Ray Moore played a fireman. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7wJ9Xd6YRa0 It also had Timothy Leary, Mark Mothersbaugh and Tony Hawk in it.

BEAU IS AFRAID is awesome and simultaneously smart/dumb and gonna piss so many people off. Think a sexually frustrated lucid dream version of A Serious Man where the main villain is Livia Soprano.

It does the exact same thing as Shin Godzilla, takes this cultural icon that has been transformed by decades of kitsch, and strips that all the away, strips away the audience's familiarity with the subject and lets the audience see with fresh eyes what was so transformative and awesome about the subject when they first appeared. This was a very good insight.

Is there a YouTube or something that examines directors and their styles. In actual depth, not surface level nonsense. I'm watching Ninth Gate, and I feel the need to understand how Polanski make his films feel so Off

Warner Bros. is remaking Wings of Desire again, this one with the same title as the first remake (City of Angels). Why. Leave Wim Wenders alone, you fucks. That movie is perfect as it is.

The main character is clearly not well due to childhood abuse, which is just hosed up. This is clearly a topic Polanski feels is necessary to explore and draw attention to... and then he does it himself.
