Yeah, I've liked the humour of the comic a bunch but I was pondering if there was some point to a lot of attention being drawn to the dragon's tits and such. Initially I assumed it was meant to convey both that the main character might fall in love with her and/or to be one of those "she's still dragon who doesn't quite get humans" details like the eating and carefree nature, but at this point I guess it's just something that the author likes to see.

All this talk of asses reminds me of the MMO trope of "bring me five bear asses", and now I want a thorsby evolutionary take on why the questgiver race is so into people who can collect bear asses, and the evolutionary pressures making animals sometimes lack an rear end.

Also this is a perfect comic, 5/7.

Thank you for the kind reactions to the comic! :) This is a fun thread and the motivation to make silly shitpost content is a testament to it, in its own way.

Also the animals that evolved in reaction to either have no rear end, or have multiple false asses that contain their eggs so that when the questgivers bring all the asses together, the eggs have a warm place to incubate in and the eventual assbear larvae can eat the rear end material to grow during their early stages.

'HP doesn't know what Tessa looks like' is a tough one for me, I don't buy it. There are still posthumous ads featuring the girls throughout the city. EVERYONE knows her. It just sticks out like a sore thumb to me. Plus the Goops/Tessa fusion looks so different from Tessa it's completely unnecessary to write for that angle.

Well, to be clear, that's my read on the situation - I just wanted to head off any confusion on why HP isn't telling her girlfriend that her surviving friend was the one attacking her. She just doesn't recognise her. There's genre convention at work here as well.

I would think she’d start paying attention after falling for Undine, though. Plus they went to the same school and everything, even if she doesn’t follow the news I’d think she would know what Tessa looks like.

I assume Undine is going to recognize her on sight later on and that’s why it’s important they look the same, but it seems like it would be easier to have her hiding in shadow here or something.

"The Man Who Cannot Deadlift"

Even if HP remembered what Tessa looks like, there's exactly 0 reason for her to connect the dots between "clearly malevolent magical girl that identifies herself as the monster that killed Undine's team and almost killed Undine" and "former magical girl who gave up her powers to save Undine's life." Also Tessa has brown hair and this girl has purple hair, QED
