Prigozhin's statement makes a lot of sense to me. He's withdrawing from Bakhmut in the hopes that the AI will reoccupy the same hex, which he can then pinch off and encircle a few more times.

Yeah it's great when you can pinpoint the exact area the paradox AI will cram into so you can just whittle them down there a bit at a time. Very useful when you don't have enough manpower to control the entire front.
