Man, SU4 really is a bit easier than SU3. Got pretty close to wiping a couple of times, but the energy on break blessing is phenomenal. A dozen attacks or something for every hostile turn.

If you have Bronya, I think Battle Isn't Over is far and away the superior choice. I have Time Waits on Bailu and it's definitely very good but the effect is mostly whatever outside of the passive stats.

my relic is basic as hell for my Bailu. Just the 3* Cornucopia max Superimpose. Since her healing is really the thing she brings for me atm.

Asta with Dance, Dance, Dance! is extremely funny. I even have mine at SI1 due to being chronically unlucky. I feel like at max SI it's an insane menace.

More Erudition talk, but I feel like Breakfast is a perfectly good light cone if you don't want to buy BP or use your BP selection on Erudition. It gives unconditional dmg% and higher superimpose levels will match/exceed the bonus some characters get from the S1 BP cone. At worst it's costing you 4* cone bux from Echoes and FH, but the former can also drop it. In terms of the class, Serval has been enough to give me a positive impression even in boss fights. I realize the rest of her peers are a bit lacking, but don't see it being a problem for Jing considering how he stacks up against Serval who is already quite useful. Hopefully something good in a non-lightning flavor can be added soon lol.

Got to the end of current story content: Space China Story thoughts felt like the running back and forth delivering messages was a bit repetitive, but finally getting to the meat of everything with Dan Shu was a cool twist. And the overall social stuff surrounding the 'Incomplete' Also some more info about Aeons and stuff. So many aeon names thrown around... Felt like I spent a lot of time, but at the cutoff, seems like I'm still only halfway thru the whole thing. Current roster at end of story:

Annnnnd that's Sim Universe settled for now. 100% on Index and Ability Tree. Seele / Sampo / Hook / Bailu makes World 6 a breeze, if I get enough Hunt blessings along the way.

Yeah, figured. I assume the quest unlocks before it's available. Unfortunately I've already explored everywhere else and it'd be a pain to do it again... Other than the starter one, I've got the one with the fake map, the one hiding in the shop, the one playing with kids, the one looking for porn, and the one fighting monsters...

So I'm considering what my two teams will be once Jing Yuan comes around and wouldn't mind some outside perspective. Team A: Fire MC (Tank/Shields) Bailu (Heals) Pela (Defense Shred & Buff Removal) Jing Yuan (Damage Dealer) Team B: Gepard (Tank/Shields) Natasha (Heals) Tingyun (Offensive Buffing) Yanqing (Damage Dealer) In both cases I end up doubling up on an element because team building is suffering. Anyways I pair Bailu with Fire MC since he needs a bit more help with healing due to his weaker shields than Gepard does. And thus Pela goes in the support slot so I don't end up with a 2 element team, and also Pela's defense shredding is valuable damage boosting anyways even if not on the same level as On the other end Gepard needs a lot less help with healing thanks to his shields being so beefy so Natasha works well. I got him paired with Yanqing also because the sword brat really doesn't wanna take damage to keep up maximum damage, so Gepard's giant shields really help facilitate that uptime. Tingyun just amplifies his damage even further.

I'm just under 30 pulls saved up for Jing Yuan since I've been playing slow. Not enough for a guarantee but there's plenty more jade for me to earn still so it shouldn't be too hard to guarantee him with my pity lined up from that 30 pull Bailu on the Seele banner. I seek husbandos in a sea of waifus.

I got really lucky with a Seele draw pretty early and then my next 4* or greater from the normal banner was Yanqing so I'm pretty happy with characters til Silver Wolf and Kafka. I like Himeko but fire MC seems more useful overall and Hook seems pretty good too. I'll probably use Hook some just because the game has given me 3 or 4 Eidolons for her. Otherwise Natasha has been great and replaced March mostly in my party since I got her, but I'm just starting spaceship China so that may change. Really enjoyed the ice planet and loved the characters and companion quests there. I've only spent money on the $5 pass so far and felt like I more than got my money's worth for the only gacha I've ever really played any of because the combat is pretty fun too for being so simple.

fitted my fireblazer to defense equips, went from like 700 defense to 1900 her shields before gave the team like a millimeter of white now its like 10%-14% of the bar depending on how squishy the one its shielding was.

Pretty pleased with myself, even though I lost in World 6. Got Cocilia or whatever her name is to phase 2 free to play at level 49 with mediocre curios and blessings. I don't think I have the power to get through phase 2, but half a level from TL40 and then I think it would be more doable.   IDK how anyone is doing this poo poo at lvl40 because I'm struggling either I get wrecked earlier in the map because tingying is made out of paper at level 50 and I have nothing better than a lvl40 3☆ harmony LC that actually works for her instead of being for a different character. I can see vestiges of the shushang/tingyun/natasha/pela being useful for SU5 but I am pretty convinced this build assumes you have everyone at lvl60 w/ 4☆ LC also at 60, along with at least lvl6+ full relic sets and some traces upgraded, otherwise it's too much of a glass "cannon". The furthest I got was w/ FireMC, failed on 85% phase 3 but this was with the Hunt path, which was helpful clearing content in a timely manner....but if I try again with the abundance path then I'll be clearing content much slower which is pretty annoying.

On the plus side, the paid battlepass track provides the second-best "value" per dollar spent, after the daily login thing. On the minus side, it's still paying something so anyone dead set on staying F2P won't benefit from it. I would strongly consider buying at least the first battlepass round if you're enjoying the game so far and have 10bux to spare - the additional credits and materials really help a lot with leveling up characters, the weapons are generically "good", and this early into the game's lifecycle everyone is leveling up their entire roster leading to chronic resource shortages. Edit My biggest complaint with SU so far is that it seems like the path you pick at the beginning does absolutely nothing for actually determining what blessings you're offered. I tried Hunt in SU5 earlier today and literally not a single one of the first 5 sets of blessings included a hunt option. That's with rerolling them too.
