I went with a tour group since I'm bringing my parents who are in their 70s, we're staying in Tours and taking a shuttle in. We have Tribune 23 grandstand seats and I expect the girls will go back to the hotel overnight but my dad and I are going to stay for the 24h.

This tracks. Also I have been informed that we did bring chairs last year and used them about 50% of the time. They were the compact style.

the GTPs are having a hell of a time braking, massive lock-up for one of the Porsches on the first turn and I've seen a few more as well Laguna Seca is beautiful, would love to see any race there at some point

Some very basic graphics mistakes on the IMSA coverage. They called an LMP2 a Ligier somehow and the 31 caddy became a Porsche at one point.

It's 24h at the Nürburgring weekend again! Youtube streams are here: https://www.youtube.com/@24hnbr/streams As usual streams are in English and German. You can also watch it on RTL Nitro in Germany. Apparently Heiko Wasser is going to commentate as well, so it's better to stay the gently caress away from that one... In more positive news, the Manta has been rebuild and is back as well as the Dacia Logan. The Logan team lost a big sponsor earlier so some of the track marshals chipped in to cover a part of the petrol costs. Weather forecast is really good, lots of sun and a few clouds, basically no chance of rain. However the nights are supposed to be really cold, we might even see 0°C.

Well that training escalated quickly. First a Lambo touched a Porsche and put himself into the barriers at 150km/h+. After that a Golf started to burn and it took like 3 minutes until the first fire extinguisher showed up.
