Today was my city's Pride parade and festival and as always it was awesome and so uplifting. It was apparently our biggest one yet with 10000+ folks in the parade, and I wouldn't be surprised if there was close to that number in spectators. So much support for 2Spirit, trans, nonbinary, genderqueer, etc. people. Entire schools of kids out supporting their peers, more every year. Such a massive bombardment of good vibes and hope. <3 Happy Pride, all you beauties!

When I was a kid in Iowa in the 90s if there was someone we really hated we'd sneak over to their house at like 2 in the morning and plant a bunch of hostas all over and I tell you what it made people plenty angry when they woke up in the morning and saw their yard all fuckin ugly with hostas.

When we first moved in the hostas were always this awful neon yellow color but now they’re nice and green and that’s why I don’t hate them anymore

My town's Pride isn't until August for some stupid reason, but it was good the last few years and I anticipate it being good this year, too.
