Unless you get really unlucky with upgrades you usually reach a point where you can just bulldoze anything that comes close to you (garlic is your friend). Solid bit of fun for not a lot of money though. I literally 100%-ed that motherfucker on April 7th, and 10 days later, they released another DLC. Picked it up in November of last year because a colleague dared me, and it's one of those games where I don't know why I'm playing it...but I'm playing it.

I put about seven hours into CP 2077 before I concluded that it was not for me, but I'm old so my cyberpunk flavor of choice is more gloomy melancholic Blade Runner noir with Vangelis playing in the background, and less peppy lighthearted action movie synthwave.

I played through it on release on PC and enjoyed it a fair bit, but there were always parts of it that felt glaringly empty. Like there are dozens of food items in the game, but they all do the same thing and you can't sit down to eat at a restaurant. It's like you can visit Night City but you can't live there.

I almost felt like that might be a nod to how Geralt gets the same result from eating a grilled chicken sandwich as he does just shoveling onions or raw dog meat in his mouth, but that's probably too generous. I also liked the game.

I kept getting distracted on my phone while playing CP2077 during some dialogue sequences on two separate occasions and ended up banging other dudes as a result. If they revamp the base game, maybe I’d pick it up again. I did have some fun in it at some points, but it was kind of a mess at first.

I wanted to like Battlebit but I dunno, it was all just a bit too chaotic for me. TTK could be a bit longer for sure. I did love lobbing c4 everywhere and also being able to drag your buddies into cover to rez them.

I haven't played it myself, but I've heard a few streamers mention they enjoyed 32v32 better than 128v128. They felt like they could make more of an impact and weren't just getting blasted from every direction constantly.

I could see that, on the other hand it a hilarious to let entire belts rip into crowds of enemies. Big matches mean for hella medic points, too.

Also, "Six Days in Fallujah" is now out in early access. I picked it up because I like co-op tactical shooters and it's been getting good reviews, but absent playing with any goons, I really hope the game's community isn't full of wannabe vetbro "infidel" types or whatever.
