I tried playing no man's sky on the deck, but the game explains very little and I started off dying. The menus are complicated. And I play poo poo like dwarf fortress, so a complicated UI usually isn't a big problem for me.

I'm currently playing a hella obscure ARPG game called Din's Legacy, it's janky as gently caress and the mechanics are weird and I love it I might play some No Men's Sky soon too idk. Also my buddy got me Hades for the Switch last year I should prolly try that
