a murder is an alleged murder while it is being proven in court, it only becomes a murder after someones found guilty for it. i think a tazer attack is an alleged tazing while it gets proven in court, and if the victim dies as a result and someone is found guilty its manslaughter? or maybe murder if they can prove premeditation

"allegedly" literally means "somebody claimed this was true". you can get in trouble for calling someone a murderer when the court later finds that they aren't, but if you call someone "a guy who got called a murderer by someone else", well, that's just the truth even if he is later acquitted. that's why you see it a lot in court reporting when talking about things that are being disputed in court. but in this case, some of the facts are not in dispute. a 95 year old got hit with a cop's tazer and died as a result. that's a tazering, not an "alleged tazering", because it actually and undisputably happened, all the court is deciding is liability.
