Man the idea of that first one might have some potential as like a GTO but the proportions of a BMW Z8, but the lack of any other changes besides the front is just bleh.

The base engine was a 2.4L four banger with ~175 hp and just under 170 lb-ft. Depending on how revvy the big Ecotec was that doesn't seem too bad. The GXP/Redline got the 2.0 turbo from the Cobalt SS.

The Solstice got a coupe just before GM’s bankruptcy and the end of Pontiac. Only about 1200 of the turbo version were made.

The Solstice/Sky are not related to the Opel Speedster in any way. They're basically a cutdown, cheaper version of the Corvette platform. Opel did get a version of the Kappa twins as the Opel GT, but again no relation to the Speedster.
