Nice, I recently started listening to their second last album and I really enjoyed it, I will make a point to look into their other albums. To be fair they're not having problems because of any incompetence (Wacken is probably the most consistently well run festival I've been to), but because of absolutely cataclysmic rain having turned the entire festival grounds into a sea of mud. It's so bad that they've had to ask people to not come. Kind of a bummer. I guess the only reason they haven't just canceled is that it only started after the early birds started showing up.

Wacken has now banned all cars driving into the festival area. So the thousands of people who are driving to the festival have to either turn back or find an alternative solution. You have to keep in mind that Wacken is absolutely huge, and lots of people arrive in cars to camp on literal fields. We haven't had this kind of constant downpour in ages. The soil is absolutely drenched. And here's the forecast:  That's bad if your festival is on fields.
