I don't really have a good answer to that though except to say that I will think about it more because this whole situation doesn't sit 100% comfortably for me 👍 last thing i will add is that this seems to have been preceded by a few statements that "we as admins are moving more towards a just do the thing and ask questions later approach, because in the past we acted too slow, and its not big deal and we can always reverse it later if we gently caress up." that approach only works tho if admins actually reverse that stuff later after thinking about it and dont dig in their heels. not directed at you specifically but yeah. it is kind of a running joke at this point that "free <some poster>" threads never work when certain people dig in their heels, and at least sometimes they probably should.
