yeah it turns out if you buy vintage erotica in bulk at auctions without reviewing each piece, there might be some stuff in there made prior to the relevant protection laws. everything i read about that incident says he cooperated with law enforcement and was acquitted of wrongdoing. it's one thing to find the erotica distasteful, but it's another thing to insist the dude's a pedo because of it

Yeah, back in the day there were actual physical publications of CSAM material and they existed in a quasi-legal or unenforced state particularly in some countries in Europe. I know that my friend's father used to buy boxes of old porn from the states and put them up in the hayloft or in a trailer out in the field and kids being kids we would go through them and come across them on rare occasions. I can see Paul acquiring them unexpectedly.

Also I’m unhappy about the death of Eminem as well, I haven’t seen him since that rap god video and drat those six years of battling cancer were hard on him. … he was one of my idols too. I didn’t realize it growing up, but looking back I got a lot of my attitudes of acceptance for weird people from him, much in the same way as teen witch said, though I’ve never liked the term queer, I do appreciate anyone who goes against the limiting social constructs we all face in some way. I tried to do that as a kid, be different, then the world changed and instead of learning to accept my own difference I just learned to fight. I’m genuinely sorry he made the shift from comedian to rapper, he would have been a much better role model as he was than as what he became.
