Funny thing with Apple is also Apple has their own first-party payment thing with Apple Cash and it's still basically a non-thing compared to Venmo/Cash App/Zelle but Elon thinks he can make it work by putting it in a shitpost app that nobody even thinks is a messaging app.

I feel like it would've made more sense to buy something like Whatsapp or Telegram. Makes way more sense to incorporate a cash transfer function into a messenger app. Larger userbase, too. buying and running these platforms is a deeply serious task and elon is a deeply unserious person so he'll never play in this world.
