He's a stud blocker. I think PFF (I know) had him graded as the 4th best blocking TE last year.

Also, wtf Cardinals?

There was another meme going around about how Colt McCoy wasn't even throwing passes at practice, just pointing at which receiver the play was meant to go to. Although I can't find it now. Apparently this was "smart veteran load management" but uh I don't think I've ever heard of that approach before.

Based on your video maybe they should go back to that :v:

Along with his blocking, he's an exceptional locker room leader, yeah. Very very well-respected by virtually everyone he plays with.

He is absolutely styling on people in practice. The flying sideways passes and behind the back poo poo we see in games is only a fraction of the poo poo he does in practice.

kiimo
Jul 24, 2003

Yeah the fact that he's legitimately doing behind the back passes in practice means it's just a matter of time.

I would say this is a bad idea but in your heart, you know that it will be completed for a first down.

Ideally you simply do not beat people half to death, but he seems to be owning up to it as a horrible mistake in his public comments at least. Not really sure how Overton window relates to lovely personal politics of a guy who wrote several funny comedies. Brushed it aside as a nerdy joke reference tbh

As someone who is terminally online that post still only got me to the Goodburger “I know some of these words” meme. There’s too many American shitlords to keep track of, let alone foreign ones, guess I missed James Corden.

Uh anyway football. The Athletic’s Pats beat writer is saying nice things about the offense such as “The Patriots offense had two of its best practices of the last 18 months this week”. This extremely low bar, hearing SOMETHING positive about the offense, was what I stated as my one wish for training camp a little while ago. So feelin pretty good :smugdog:

This was the post they were responding to when they said they didn’t realize it was about the brits’ politics, but the whole joke is based on the Overton window so it’s pretty explicitly about politics. Maybe the Overton window is more obscure than I thought? My parenthetical comments were just to contrast Forrest on Fire’s good joke as opposed to my stupid Overton window frame pun

Can he throw Piers Morgan through a regular window? Preferably one that's really, really high up? Totally cool with it being behind is back or left-handed or whatever, the important point is that Morgan then dies.
