I want a cute usb stick that looks like an icecream or something, I dunno. Something recogniseable that I can dump my family photos on. What I actually want is a cute micro sd reader so I'm not at the whims of fake usb drives. Is there such a thing that's not just a phone? Wait, Amazon is offering me the prison butt phones and they're only like £20...

You can get usb micro sd readers that are the size of micro sd cards. And then glue on some decorations. I have one of those readers and it works. I think you can also buy usb-sticks in that size, though I wouldn't buy usb-sticks from ali in general.

My GBA SP stopped working (battery wouldn't charge) so I decided to take a punt on an Ali knock-off. They got round the issue of posting batteries by labelling it as a case on the customs form. Seems great so far, an easy swap and is (supposedly) twice as powerful as the original battery

Got an odd ad for Temu on my phone: Of all the cards to use to advertise that you sell knockoff M:tG cards...why that one? It's not even a real card. I thought it was like...AI generated text or something at first because there's no Expansion/Set indicator icon, but it almost reads like a comedy card from an UN set. But then I searched it and it's, like...a level below (above?) promotional cards. Richard Garfield had just a few printed out for friends, family, and some Magic staffers to announce the birth of his second kid.

tried ordering a mid drive ebike motor from a seller with US warehouse stock. ordered, and then seller messaged me saying the model I ordered was not available but one that was 30 dollar more was available to ship same day. the seller sent a link to another item that was listed as an upgrade to the item I ordered. I stupidly said okay and paid that (all through AliExpress still). 20 mins later seller messages me again and says they "just confirmed with their warehouse that actually they only have this one specific model left" and would you believe it?!? it's the most expensive one they sell! so now I'm stuck I can either pay more again and hopefully have them ship today, or likely have them try to extort more out of me and infinitum because why not? or I can just try to cancel I guess and hope that it works out in my favor. I'm wary of this because I haven't heard good things about AliExpress customer service. in any case, I'm dumb as hell for paying more the first time
