Not really that, but reminds me of when Kliff to Kyler was like “you think it’s so easy to call plays?! Why don’t you loving try it!” and then they scored in like three plays. Those two really deserved each other

I seem to remember reading about it at some point. And...well he's produced a fair amount of head coaches.

It's a shame Teddy didn't get as much attention as Alex Smith did for a miraculous recovery from a horrific injury. From what I've read about what happened to him, his leg was hanging on by like 2 arteries or something.

I think part of it is a refusal to want to know more about said injuries after Alex Smith's His alone was nightmare fuel, I do not need to see competing injuries

Teddy’s injury was in training camp, so while it was horrible, it wasn’t live on TV. Smith’s was on TV/RedZone, so everyone saw it, and had the horrible irony of happening in Washington 33 years to the day of the Joe Thiesmann injury, and Joe was at the game. And that’s all before Smith’s leg got infected.
