What they're actually talking about is when someone drops off someone else's ballot, e.g., "Hey neighbor, while you're at the polling station, can you drop my ballot off too?" But when they say that Republicans need to embrace it, they're definitely talking about cheating at a large scale.

The complaining about "ballot harvesting" is, at best, ignorant people assuming that, whatever it is, it allows people to cast votes that they shouldn't be able to. (It doesn't.) At worst, it's actively-malicious conservatives that want it banned because they think there is something inherently cheaty/unfair about anything that disproportionately benefits the Democratic Party, and they welcome to disenfranchisement of their political enemies. The second category needs to invent a cheaty-sounding term for it so they can get enough of the people that would be appalled by it to land in the first category and let it happen.

He's definitely out to get a reaction; I don't know whether it's true or not, but I've heard speculation that he's basically trying to bait people into giving him dubious grounds to sue. Whether that's the case or not, he does seem to be making bigger scenes as people get used to his bullshit.

Makes you wonder what would have happened if you pulled the same stunts back in 2002 with a "gently caress Bush" sign on your truck lol.
