Let he is without sin. When my Fiat was waiting on brake parts, it felt good to hear the engine going. I loved getting the revs as high as I felt safe with that old thing, just to know that it wasn't all for nothing

I sold it without a title because of poo poo with the state. It was all for nothing

That's understandable, however my neighbor has had this car for close to 15 years now and I've only seen it out of the garage a handful of times, once I went for a ride with him and it was a horrible mistake :v:

I know you have to treat these AITA posts as creative writing exercises, but honestly I can totally imagine someone being this much of an inconsiderate shithead. And then being shocked, shocked when they get turfed out of their lease.

In a follow up post he was furious to find that his car had been keyed. Right in his own parking space! What kind of inconsiderate rear end in a top hat would do that??

I also have to spend 14 hours a weekend putting super greasy Armor All on my tires after spending an additional 30% of my rent to park under a tree, how am I supposed to do that without having my stereo playing Kid Rock at 142 dB?

I don't condone such things but I'd probably buy the keyer a beer.

Alfa Romeo had an unveiling event today for their new halo car Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale; a car that they are only making 33 of, has no announced price, and were all spoken for before the event.

It's a small club, and I ain't in it :/

Limited series at organ selling prices is far more remunerative than mass market.

The only new part is bodywork, interior and maybe the infotainment, platform is the same as mc20 so there shouldn't be any new major gremlins to manage.

It's a 33 unit production run. None of them will travel further than dealer to atmosphere controlled container.

Also it's "ciao a tutti", without the a it doesn't have sense.

Which is a good thing as it's brake by wire.

Trusting Alfa electricals for braking is rather..... unwise

If it makes you feel any better, it's a Maserati under the Alfa skin.

It's funny to me that Maserati made a better looking Ferrari Enzo, and now Alfa has made a better looking Maserati.

Ferrari has been getting some good milage out of the Enzo(?) chassis, I think the Icona series (SP1/2/3) are just an Enzo chassis with different coachwork on top

Jesus Christ, couldn't they use a more reliable chassis? Like maybe a Jaguar from the 80s or something?

I guess this was inevitable now that as I see 8Cs are going for like $400K.

For a while now it's just been the reality that a halo car isn't something you might buy if you somehow accumulate 2nd-house wealth by your 50s. It's not even "won the lottery" tier anymore. Now it's just "only the 5 richest kings of Europe will own them" territory

I guess someone started doing low volume production again as the MKII in 2010-18 +/- but with 400hp engines

I mean in art traditionally the gap between a halo and a crown, you could barely see daylight between them, so that checks out

Apparently all the angry Alfisti crew in Italy. Before Marchionne died, the alfa-maserati business unit was going to make a new premium sports car under the alfa brand, to act as halo car for the new giulia and stelvio. After he croaked, new management moved that project under Maserati and, after several years of mismanagement, it became the mc20. Alfa fans never let it go and spew vitriol in every Italian car forum about it.

The mc20 was originally supposed to be an alfa and sold in mass production as such.
