Although I am not at the burn this year I've heard from ranger friends who share your opinion on how things are going. Thankfully anyone who is interested and wants to can eventually go to burning man for a week, enjoy themselves and actually find out what the event is about.

I don't believe it is practical for me to ever attend burning man. The travel costs alone are prohibitive.

Frankly, I'd rather go to the gathering of the juggalos. I'm sure it hews truer to ancom ideals if that's your thing. It's not mine though, I'm not a fan of ideologies promoted by the FBI.
