You could just replay it. Once more Into the Breach.

I didn't know ITB was on mobile so I downloaded it and... Into The Breach, brought to you by Netflix? I thought I opened the wrong app at the start. What a bizarre buyout.

Netflix has a whole suite of games on Android. Part of their move to expand into game streaming. Search for Netflix as the publisher and you'll find a bunch.

Wish I could buy ITB separately though. Had cancelled Netflix but ended up needing it again anyway.

I couldn't play Into the Breach because my eyes suck and that text is loving tiny. More games need to build font size options into their settings menus.

anyone have a suggestion for games that specifically work well with a controller? I picked up one of those backbone things since I got a really good deal on one at work and I figure between streaming games from my pc and vampire survivors i'd get enough use out of it, but any suggestions would be welcomed (particularly ones that I'm unlikely to just want to play on my PC proper)

In no particular order: Stardew Valley Vampire Survivors SOTN Brotato Titan Quest Dysmantle 20 Minutes till Dawn Dungreed Dead Cells Streamed poo poo from my pc through moonlight Grimvalor is probably worth checking out and I think that's only on android/mobile. It never super clicked with me but it seemed cool if you're into that sort of thing.

Its really word having an event for this monster that shares almost no weaknesses with other monsters, having two weaknesses that each correspond to a single monster's weapons, just a month after its broad release. Like, ive been playing the game since it's soft launch in Canada so I have a level 6 lightning sword but people who haven't been grinding are just going to feel shafted, especially when every monster around you is just a Diablos.

MHN chat: How are you guys getting different weapons? Is it just a level thing? I still haven't figured out how to lock onto a part, let alone focus one. I've just been building every piece of every set I can when I can, then I read somewhere that that's pretty useless and I should be focusing specific gear pieces. I think I'm only 13 or so, should I just reroll? I will say, this game is prime MH in the way it explains basically nothing.

Focus on one weapon for each element. A fairly broad range that will serve you well against almost every monster is a fire, water, and electric weapon. The actual weapon types are up to your preference. As for armor, at the beginning you can try a couple things out but keep an eye on the skills and focus on the armor that has skills you want. You can keep a couple on rotation if you want to, for example, have the fire resistant armor to use with your water weapon when fighting anjanath or whatever. The problem with doing multiple sets is that a lot of equipment shares common harvestable materials - like I have three pieces of armor right now that require 11 carpenterbugs each and it's a pain trying to level them all up. Having a different set that may also require carpenterbugs would be a pain. It's kind of a problem with the game - they want to extend its lifespan of course, but it really punishes experimentation with equipment combinations.

Elemental weapons are the way to go, but beware, you only get the elemental damage on monsters weak to that element. On anything else, you only get the raw damage. Status weapons are okay, paralysis rocks in groups if you're able to play with local friends, but are way outdamaged by elemental. A Grade 7 5/5 raw weapon will do about as much damage as a Grade 5 5/5 weapon hitting weakness. On Armour: Elemental attack up skills scale very hard and very well, much better than raw attack, so prioritise a set for each of those. Fill in gaps with things like Evade Extend, Divine Blessing, Critical Eye, Weakness Exploit and Peak Performance. Make sure you have Lock On somewhere if you can (Kulu head or Rathian hands). The more DPS you can poo poo out, the more defensive you can afford to play without the timer getting you. If you have a really hard time dodging certain attacks (Legiana's 180 degree sweep is the bane of my existence) just save your special to i-frame through those. Ice is only really relevant for Diablos right now so don't sweat that too much.

As a note the upgraded kulu helm also gives Crit eye at rank 4. The lock on stuff is great for forcing a position too (like behind for tail smash or anjanath legs for tipple)

Unciv will cover the flight and then some. Warning: having full fledged Civ on your phone may be hazardous to your health. One-more-turn-itis is much more dangerous when you can do it while lying down in bed.

Just got a new phone, and it is peak gamer nonsense. It's fast as hell, and I'm having trouble making it go full tilt in a game. Anyone have a suggestion for games that can be cranked to punishingly good levels of graphics? So far I've been playing games through dolphin at stupid resolutions and genshin impact absolutely maxed, and it still hasn't dropped any frames.
