had my first Aura strap snap yesterday, at least it was while taking it off. What's the procedure to make it less likely, pre-stretching the straps before putting one on? Also didn't see it posted, a nice little treat for the thread: https://x.com/DrEricDing/status/1704952648271896669?s=20

they mention that most of the guys don’t use masks, or if they use masks they’re dust masks which aren’t good enough seems like wearing better masks and keeping particulates out of the air would keep them alive. if only there was an agency with the power to enforce them at work… Steve Yun has issued a correction as of 13:20 on Sep 24, 2023 |

Paxlovid is legitimately a miracle drug. 3-4 hours after my first dose, my symptoms were essentially gone. I'm about to take my third dose and I feel fine, just the tiniest bit of mucus in the upper throat but no congestion, no cough, no fever.

Wasn't there like evidence back in 2020 where there was a noticeable drop in sales of foundation and lipsticks sales while there was a boom in eyeliners sales?

The Oldest Man posted:The political and bureaucratic apparatus in this country appears to be a corpse to superficial inspection but some folks at OSHA looked at COVID and were like "drat, this is a workplace hazard" and wrote a bunch of draft rules about mitigating it that leaked onto the internet in April 2021. Rules that, if they were put into force, would have made employers liable for people getting injured by COVID if they contracted it on the job and the employer was found to not be following the rules on things like air quality control. Plus the precedent that if those rules were strengthened later, people would have to comply or face regulatory action or lawsuits.

My wife just got her shot and the shot giver at cvs informed her that's it's a two-dose. I'm pretty sure that's a lie but just checking here. First I've heard of it. Edit: wife asked if she was sure, the lady checked the Moderna site which said it was a two dose. redreader has issued a correction as of 17:28 on Sep 24, 2023 |

Maybe the shot giver meant it's a two-dose if you're completely unvacinated? Your wife should have said well let me go ahead and schedule that second dose in 3 months. lol
