At least that's how all the torties I've met have been, absolutely the sweetest girls, but you are not allowed to ignore them for even a moment if they believe it is attention time. Mrow, chirp, pat pat pat you on the arm, bunt bunt bunt, notice me, pet me and so on. I think it's great.

Tortoiseshells have a reputation for being very naughty and energetic, which may be why you know them as being needy, since they are very playful. Probably because they are ALL females, barring genetic disorders.

Here�s Abigail, my housemate�s cat. She�s hilarious and melodramatic. She spent several minutes making bread and drooling on me last night while I waited for my non-imaginary bread to cook.

There�s also a very large puppy here that desperately wants to be friends with her. He�s absolutely stoked that she cuddles with me, cause it means she is within reach and he can tell her he would like to be friends face-to-face. I thought he was going to explode with joy when she grabbed his face and bit him (no broken skin) because he was getting pushy.

He got to give her smoochy on her ear a couple of days ago, too.

He does not know that he is too pushy and intimidating because he is deaf, and doesn�t hear her growling at him. So he�ll corner her and just watch her, wagging his tail.

Here he is, showing her that he�s there if she wants to talk, but he is not interested in eating her. This was after she grabbed his face because he was too close.

His nose is level with that table when he�s standing.

They�re probably street/ferals and would run off.

We had walls like that in my neighborhood in Cannes, most at least 2-3 meters high, and a population of street cats that could easily scale them.

A couple weeks ago I went for a walk around Cheongju, South Korea where I'm living now and saw one of these guys on the street. At first I thought it was a mouse or rat foraging in a bush, then it came out and ran across the street giving me a clear view. I checked online and least weasels are native to both North America and Eurasia, including Korea. I didn't have time to get a picture but it was so cool to see.
