i've lived in san francisco for >9 years. moved here from denver because my wife finished her masters and during that time had been subletting her apartment out to her cousin and her cousin was about to move out so we had to decide whether i should quit my job and we both move to san francisco with no jobs or to find a place together in denver, and SF has a constant shortage of teachers so she was able to immediately find a job out here, so i quit and we moved here and it's a nice town. doesn't hurt that my industry (rooftop solar) is more established here either. san francisco is good.
