The West Midlands Tory mayor was due to go overseas on a trip today, but he's announced that he's cancelled that and is going to attend the conference instead. I hope he's dragged out by the security like the chair of the london assembly.

Post-Brexit, the DUP vastly reduced the fines handed out to agricultural polluters, citing it as a Brexit win that they were no longer limited by EU environmental protection laws. 40% of all land in NI (and some land in Ireland) drains into Lough Neagh, which is a shallow and fairly stagnant body of water so the increase in fertiliser run-off and other pollutants has turned it into an ideal habitat for the algae.

It's the second largest freshwater lake in the UK despite what the BBC keep saying. Loch Ness holds more than twice as much water.

I'm aghast at the conservatives delaying the ban on petrol vehicles. We need to provide a planet for our grandchildren to live on, it's of the utmost importance. I can't switch to labour because of their short sighted views on private schools. My dilemma.

Well well, it really is the DUP all the way down. Kinda shows how badly they ran the country that even with the rigged electoral setup they lost the election.

He shaved it off as a protest, as him cancelling his career through his own actions is similar to people being sent to camps, like the what happened to the Jews during WW2, or civil rights campaigners in the US. I'm paraphrasing, but he said this either on the recent Andrew Tate stream or with some other rapey fascist chud

There's a very high chance. I keep looking at the video at around 8 seconds, and I keep seeing what appears to be the outline of a handgun in the evidence bag the officer is holding. Could easily be a replica or BB/pellet gun if so.

As the thread's resident Teuchter I am obligated to say that Loch Ness is super pretty and everyone should visit at least once. Take the Jacobite Cruise down the Loch to Urquhart Castle, even on a grey day it's honestly very bonnie, but if you get lucky and go on a sunny day it is stunning.
