"Created in the image of" is a shorthand way of describing God projecting Godself into lower dimensions, meaning what we think of as a singular annular "butthole" is actually a projection of a higher-dimensional structure into dimensions we are able to perceive with our senses. Thank you, now I have "hypercube butthole" stuck in my head. The goatse tesseract.

You don’t pee in paradise, unless a really good satisfying one would make you feel better, in which case it manifests at the precisely correct time

So are the cheeseburgers in paradise like manna and produce no waste products? If so, does that also mean they're kosher cheeseburgers?

It’s canon that everything in Eden was vegetarian, not just Adam and Eve but like the lions and sharks and t-rexes, and everything vegetarian except some edge cases is kosher. In paradise those cases clearly wouldn’t exist. It’s safe to say it’s going to be a kosher veggie burger better than any beef burger you have ever tasted. I suspect the ironic grammatical difference between: "Fought for [as in, in the name of or to further] socialism" and "Fought for [as in, signed up to get the state-provided pay, accommodation, food, travel, healthcare, training, education and career progression] socialism" is lost on the owner of that bumper sticker.

I'm guessing it was partly a consequence of the Red Scare, which was a massive gift to capital. They could simply tie any sort of left wing agitation to scary "godless communists" and make leftism unpalatable and frightening to an entire generation of people.

It's barely known in Britain, tbf. This sort of thing is not part of the commonly known or taught 'war story' and neither are things like the RAF and RIN mutinies of 1946, the very real threat of strikes/mutiny in the British fleet or the actual mutinies in the NZ and Canadian navies in the same period. Similarly missing are the various strikes that occurred during and immediately after the war, including one for equal pay by women working at Rolls-Royce and one by coal miners to get their pay up to the national average for industrial workers. History as taught in schools really glosses over exactly why the nation overwhelmingly voted for the most radical government in its history at the first opportunity (before VJ Day, even).
