How do I download custom maps??? In the old days you could enable automatic downloading of whatever map the server was running. Is this not possible now? I found the map in question in the steam workshop, and subscribed to it, but I still can't join the server, CS2 claims I don't have the map. Searching for alternate download locations brings up nothing.

Ok just checked: "VAC bans are permanent, non-negotiable, and cannot be removed by Steam Support. VAC bans can not be appealed."

I do insist that we mute each other in game and use push-to-talk to relay important information to everyone though. Discord has a "temporary mute" hotkey you can bind so for years I've had mouse4 mute me in disc. Also helps to kill the toggle sound effect which is a weird setting to find. Only drawback is anyone who is in your channel but not in the game won't hear but it's usually just callouts so NBD. e: to clarify I have mouse4 as my voice chat button in every game

I miss cs_militia and cs_assault from the original maps. Out of new ones, cs_insertion was peak fun. Wallbanging usual spots with autosniper through the thin walls owned.
