Just think that should've been O-line help instead. Both of those guys were fringe prospects, and there aren't many Brock Purdys in the league. Better to tank one year than limp along drafting garbage along the way.

Eh calling Malik bad wasn't hard to figure out. I'm not good at a lot of things but I'm... pretty solid on QB analysis? Good track record at least. Not nearly Daltos level or anything but enough to figure things out beyond "eye test."

They've said this week that they believe rehab will be all he needs, but surgery hasn't been ruled out. I think they wait a few weeks anyway to see how it responds. If it's surgery, he won't be back this year. Might as well wait 2-3 weeks and see how it shakes out. Minshew looked lost today. He rushed a couple throws he didn't need to and made just poor passes. He was just a poo poo show on all fronts.

I only saw the end of the Colts game, but I got the impression it wasn't even as close as the score looked, which isn't really surprising. Minshew has looked really good when coming in for AR this season, but appears to have struggled today, so that's a little ominous for the rest of the season. Not that it really matters I guess, getting a better draft pick is probably better than winning a few extra games anyway. I hope Lawrence is ok, sucks to see him go down on a relatively meaningless play at the end of the game.
