Based on the rear of that car and the surrounding scenery, I suspect that is a Swedish A-tractor. Speed limited to 30 km/h, can be driven by 15 year old.

Preoptopus posted:Apparently these are a thing I didn't know I needed. Having owned a 740 wagon, I think it would be fairly "easy" to convert one into a ute. The hatch already matches the roofline and there isn't much that intrudes into the cargo area. Follow the lines that are already there and leave access to the spare tire well and rear lights (two bolts with thru holes in the c-pillar, very close to how it is on many pickups). I don't think you'd even need to relocate the fuel filler tube. AFAIK, the rear suspension can be taken completely apart without accessing the interior. Strengthening the rear of the body probably wouldn't eat up any space past the inside of the rear fender wells.

That dog is clearly thinking "Why the gently caress did you purchase this tiny box of a car, where i cannot comfortably sit in the cargo bay like every other dog? You barely can bring a potted plant in there you rear end in a top hat!"

Recently found a photo of the back of my wagon, back seats folded down, dog with the entire second row and half the trunk area. My stuff was packed in the other half of the trunk and filling up the passenger seat, me being crammed. Priorities.

It's OK. quote:In November 2021, I located the source of this madness, and it was the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA). This is a non-governmental non-profit lobbying organization composed of motor vehicle and law enforcement administrators and executives from all 50 states. Canada, Mexico, the Virgin Islands, and Washington D.C. get representation in the AAMVA as well. Among other things, the organization seeks standardization of laws across the states regarding traffic safety, vehicle titling, and driver licensing. I don't understand why a journalist gets to this point and doesn't go further. Probably lack of a budget to do the requests to get more information though. They've identified the organization yet I feel it lacks motive. Why are they targeting Kei cars? Why would that be an orgizational goal? Who is funding them? The public disclosure financial documents are interesting, there's a few individuals donating millions of dollars every year. I doubt it's persons who want to really tidy up the dmv bureaucracy.
