Just installed opera, turned on the default ad blocker went to youtube without signing in and no ad's or messages, or pauses before a video starts. Playlists works as well. Have firefox open and can check if any of the channels I'm subscribe to add anything new. Copy and paste title into opera. Bit of extra effort, but only a couple of seconds to C+P and alt tab.

It’ll honestly be much easier to jump through the hoops to subscribe to YouTube Premium at the Argentine price of US$2 than to do this incognito or alternate browser poo poo. $2 is nothing.

Also, stupid question but is there a way to make a YouTube channel vile enough that no advertiser wants ads on it, but not so vile that it violates TOS? edit: Maybe if your whole channel was devoted to talking poo poo about the last ad that ran on it?

There was a brief moment where streaming was more convenient than illegal streaming sites but now the illegal ones actually have to compete with each other on better interfaces since they all have the same all content. They're better than paid streaming sites now

A logo is part of branding which is part of the overall marketing strategy for a product. It basically serves as a short form ad wherever that product is located. Obviously the logo doesn't include other things that go in traditional ads (music, jingles, movement), but the ads are used to associate the logo with that other stuff. How many times did you see a logo and a jingle started playing in your head? Probably more than you realize. You can also say that a logo is an ad for the product in market shelves. In a sea of samey products on a shelf, the first differentiator is the logo.
