It is not but they won’t let you stop them hahaha

They’ll put up a 7 spot in the 7th and pretend none of this poo poo happened

SNATTER'S ALIVE?!?!
I mean, when I was a young man, I remember watching a winner-take-all game on my parents' TV. The Phillies were down 5-2 going into the 8th. Nolan Ryan was on the mound against them. They'd just coughed up a 3-spot in the bottom of the 7th and my childhood nightmares, watching my beloved Phils lose in the playoffs to the Dodgers in '77 and '78 in heartbreaking fashion, were raging in my head. And yet, somehow, I kept the faith.
A young man's foolish dream.

But I'm old now.

Ok fair enough, that I understand.

That is the glory, and misery, of baseball. How in the space of an inning a starting pitcher can go from a towering god, hurling smoke trails from beyond the clouds, to a clown pinata, and how a hitting lineup can go from a murderer’s row of baseball mashers to helpless insects.

Peak NFL Doomposting was the Bears having a <6 point lead with at least 30 seconds left against the Packers, knowing that Rodgers was going to get the ball back. one. last. time.

my doomposting zenith was whining about how rodgers was going to beat us when the bears were up like 20 in the Khalil Mack Game where he was pretending to be injured and then it happened.
