Today I went to check out the soon-to-be-renamed LeConte's Sparrow at Conquest Preserve in Queen Anne's County. Wow what a nice bird to look at. And what a great sparrow area that is. There is so much activity there.

I got into the NFL a couple seasons ago, I'm in the UK so I had no geographic ties, and I like the colour orange and feeling unmitigated misery so I decided to follow the Browns. Then they hired Watson and I was like "no, I can't do this, that is too lovely" and decided to try and follow the Dolphins like my partner. But goddamn I keep flicking back to check how they're doing and cheering a little bit when they win and checking out how good Myles Garrett is looking. I think I may have... formed an emotional connection to the success of an objectively bad football team? There may be no cure. I can't believe I did this to myself.
