Vegas trip report: City sucked, officially part of a class action lawsuit now, but race was fun. Very cool to see the cars in person, def get a real sense of speed irl that the camera just cannot catch. I was very surprised they actually announced the race on the loudspeakers during the race, never seen that before in motorsport but I come from a NASCAR background. Was particularly annoying during FP3/Quali, as the announcers talked as much about whatever celebrity was there as they did what was going on-on track. That was kinda the theme of the whole weekend: it was great if you liked the glamor and pomp-and-circumstance, but there was very little to do with actual racing. Regret buying the VIP, didn't give me access to anything interesting that was related in any way to cars, engineering, or racing: just clubs, parties, and concerts. The whole weekend kinda felt like I accidentally bought a ticket to WWE when I wanted a ticket to Olympic wrestling, but that's probably a result of my expectations.

I finished the BrawnGP Documentary. I am one of those filthy F1 fans that came through DTS and so I didn't know anything about them. Incredible story, great doc, Keanu legit a good interviewer. Highly recommend.
