Shaw with support like Nico, and Forge will increase his stat line significantly. WWBN needs a deck of on reveals, and if you don't have any destroy effects, you can fill lanes and not have him able to move rather quickly.

I've gotten WWBN very big very consistently but the problem is he usually has to stay where he is from T5->6 which makes him a target. Otherwise you can bounce him away but you will rarely be able to replace his spot in that lane.

My dreams of playing Mysterio/Monkey on 5 into Firestar on 6 are dead. Shame as she was the card I was most excited for. Going to be funny the first time a Darkhawk player loses everything to someone playing The Blob though.

A lot of people (myself included) love the way the gold border looks with certain cards if you've also unlocked the gold background. But then you can't upgrade that card at ALL anymore, and if it's the first split of that variant, then you have to decide if you're willing to give up the gold border to take it to infinity to split it again to try for inked, or other particle effects.

yeah i'd absolutely adore being able to mix and match border colors/background colors/particle effects when they're unlocked. i've soured on the rainbow foil background so i somewhat recently swapped over to the infinite base version on everything i had unlocked, but i would've still liked to use (say) the rainbow explosion effect on my festival jubilee

They talked about adding a new tier of rarity for variants didn't they? Like beyond the 5000 token ones, I'd assume in the most whalesome bundles only or just straight up not in a bundle and you just buy the single variant on its own for Ł100 or whatever.

Yeah, I'm gold or infinite exclusively; maybe a few b/w ones. The rainbow background sucks with the cards. I like rainbow colors, too, but they just replace the background in odd ways.

The tweet is specifically referring to them bringing up that Ultimate variants are supposed to get additional VFX/SFX when played to make them feel more “ultimate” — this is separate from the “HIGHER than Ultimate” variant tier they’ve talked about as well as the mix and match of current splits or upcoming additional split types or first edition badges lol.

He double deserves it for running Alioth in a loving Destory deck. Play my 50+ power Knull? Nah, gently caress that, FART CLOUD TO VICTORY! Like drat, the whole deck is built around throwing prio and slamming massive cheated stats on turn 6. There are few worse decks to shove Alioth into.

After a couple of weeks of Conquest failures with Annihilus decks, I'm having some success now with a 'Girl Power' deck that was on SnapZone a couple of weeks ago. It's pretty high-rolly but it puts out a lot of power in some unexpected ways. And it uses Rescue!

Rescue is underrated I think. Big 4 cost card without a downside to play around.
