Mine is stuck in that weird limbo where ali emails me every day to say there's been a shipping update, but the shipping status doesn't change.

It flies for like 10 mins. The video is fine I guess but it's a $14 drone what do you honestly expect

I've used this one to add BT to my 2003 car for example, I think it only beeps at reasonable volume when a device is connected and otherwise nothing else. Why is (what I’m guessing is) the left speaker output marked as “negative power supply”? Or am I completely misunderstanding how that’s wired up? Cool little mod you built either way wa27 posted:I don't think anything like that exists that's mass produced. I figured as much, but it was worth a shot If there’s an open source one out there, you might try building it yourself… I built an open source diy Supergun and it wasn’t too hard with a bunch of practice first. Ordered the boards from JLC-PCB and the parts from Mouser

I'm pretty sure they just hosed up the image and it's just L/R channels as labeled on the PCB. Looking at the wiring diagram, I'm pretty sure that's what I did (it was a few years back). These would be the green/black/red wires in my photo.

I went for the black plastic 10 pin loom and it's better made than any I've bought previously. Pins are nice and tight. Battery is smaller than the old battery and a little thicker, but was well packaged and the keyboard lit up the moment I connected it up, despite having no keys attached to it at that point! 10/10. Would revive a broken bluetooth keyboard again!

Buy a TS100 or TS80, depending on whichever you prefer

Based off the IronOS github, apparently the ways to go for Miniware are the TS101 and TS80P. The newer 100 have bootloader issues if you want to go to that OS or potentially just update it. The TS80 is all old stock and the 80P is the new version. I'm prone to trust the nerds who write custom soldering iron operating systems for which ones are good. I also quite like my TS101, but I'm waiting for full support before I go over to IronOS. It's supposed to be a nice improvement for the 100.

Suss (thats chinese for 'new volume' so got a laugh outta that) Was a bit promising considering I had it in a PCIE3 NVME slot instead of a newer type LOL read/write failure due to not having external DRAM Buffer LOL capacity failure And Ultimately...

Tried ordering some panel mount outlets for my own step down transformer build. Schuko and nema, together as god intended: I think the main safety issue with the nema plug (being able to touch both prongs when they might be live) is fixable by recessing the socket like the schuko, they even make those already. My $1.79 (or whatever) haul arrived, I ordered a few thing for an upcoming vacation and other random crap I came across. One thing was a compact USB-PD GAN charger... that turned out to be barely smaller than my 5 year old-ish Blitzwolf. It does have PPS and an extra USB-A output at least. Also got a 10mm flex-head wrench because I didn't have one and why not. It seems to be ok at first glance but is definitely wimpier than my Lidl one:His Divine Shadow posted:Tried ordering some panel mount outlets for my own step down transformer build. Is it possible to modify the firmware of the scam device to turn it back into a reliable 64gb m.2 drive though? And even then you'd need a lot of them to make it worthwhile. I'm not sure I'd be okay with willingly sharing my real identity to known scammers, maybe if there was a way to order stuff from aliexpress with a PO box and a throwaway name and payment details

The reason those irons have microcontrollers is that you need something that can negotiate the USB power delivery protocol, and the cheapest way to do that in those volumes is just to slap a random 20 cent general purpose controller in there. Plus that gets you things like closed loop PID temperature control so it warms up nearly instantly and stays at the target temperature much better.

I was gonna make a joke about it running doom, but somebody did it to a TS80 so almost certainly a yes on the Pinecil
