All the menus except for the minimap are tap button and they stay open, which threw me as I kept thinking I had to hold the button which quickly opens and closes the menu.

There's barely anything to gently caress up in CCP's Vanyard shooter in its present state. It looks like it was developed by two unpaid interns during their evening overtime as just another one of Hilmar's minimum viable product attempts - like VR, like crypto, to squeeze out more won out of Pearl Abyss fentanyl money laundering empire. It'll never reach a fraction of gameplay complexity of Dust420 and will be buried in Hilmar's pet-project cemetery at the end of next year.

But, correct me if Im wrong. Project Legion didn't die per se. They just killed the codename, so I assume this is the exact same loving project they've been working on for years now and it doesn't feel like it at all.... Dust had more to do and more engaging content too.. I genuinely don't get how they've got so little to show.

It's like they invoked the ghost of Chris Roberts and it told them the best way to grift the existing EVE playerbase is to make an FPS Arena mode. evvv: Pearl Abyss runs Black Desert so you can believe the only development Vanman will get will be bitcoining your wallet with microtransactions. there's not a lot, but it's also an alpha build so i wasn't expecting too much going in. basic gameplay loop, one gun to shoot other people with, i wouldn't be too surprised if part of this release was also to stress-test servers for gameplay.

It's even worse, there is a checkbox to enable voice, which is turned off by default, and does nothing, as in, voice will be enabled regardless of the setting. You can only mute yourself by clicking the mute mic checkbox.
