I think most of those hamster Takashi’s Castle obstacle courses are self-evidently fun for the hamsters. Vids by pet owners aren’t like all those reddit videos where a person rescues an animal on camera and it’s obvious they first put the animal there right before starting the recording.

putting a hamster in a maze for a little bit is fine and good exercise for the hamster, the issue is those cages with the maze just attached where the hamster wanders around a bit and gets lost when it just wants to go back to the actual nest with woodchips and take a nap or eat or w/e ideally the cage and maze are separate, or theres a divider you can lower, or smth

And even if I plagiarized Join me on my next video "where is the DK64 charity money hbomb?" me and my dozens of friends, including somebody who works at H&R BLOCK will be calling you out and if you donate to my patreon, you're supporting real video creators, as I kick myself in the nuts on Steve Harvey's Big Time. obviously /s, but to see coffin get really unhinged the last few years just makes me really sad, only because he's falling for the Content Creator curse of "throw anything to the wall and hope it sticks and becomes the thing I'm famous for", the hbomb stuff seems unhinged, and just gives the vibes of Quartering in desperation. it's not literally impossible because patents protect a method not an idea - just the same way that nintendo patenting the d-pad didn't prevent everyone else from having d-pads on their controllers (though it did mean they were all worse) the bigger reason nobody's done much with a nemesis system is it's a very expensive feature requiring a shitload of art and voice assets that a regular player might not even encounter during a single playthrough, so you better develop your entire game around it, and at that point the question is asked how the gently caress did you get publishing to sign off on a game that's gonna spend all that money on assets and not charge the player for them
