Mine goes: 1998 Mitsubishi Carisma in green - died of rust that we weren't willing to fix for what the car was worth. 2009 Alfa Romeo MiTo - a car that my wife really loved but that we in the end never drove, so it had to go. 2012 Alfa Romeo Guilietta - a car that we bought to be more refined when commuting but that I really never got along with so I traded it in when I bought my next car... 2019 KIA Optima PHEV - a nice car that made me addicted to driving on electric but we never really "clicked" with, so we sold it and made out about +/- 0 on the ownership 1998 Chevrolet S10 Pick up - I really like this heap of poo poo and it's really handy to have just to avoid having to rent a trailer every time we need to haul poo poo.... also a trailer doesn't have a nice sounding V6... 2021 VW ID.3 - a car that my wife fell in love with on the test drive and we waited way too long for to have delivered.. it was great until it really wasn't anymore due to cost of electricity and how annoying it was to charge it so we returned the lease 1965 Dodge Dart GT - my project car that I've put on hold until I buy a house with a garage since I just can't get it done in a drive way 2003 BMW E39 Touring - probably my favorite car I've ever had that I bought on a whim to replace the ID.3 we had returned, and that I'll probably keep for a long time 2012 Volvo V50 D2 - having an economical diesel car in addition to the more thirsty BMW seemed like a decent excuse to get another car (that my wife fell in love with... I sense a theme). From my car journey so far I'm at the point where I'm (hopefully) never ever buying or leasing a new car again. It's just not worth it. I've also realized that I like new tech, but I don't like living with it. Just not worth the compromises. The Volvo hits a very good sweet spot right now. Very safe, has bluetooth phone connection, but no other bullshit. It's just so easy to drive and use, and has a nice button for everything. Same with the BMW. I can't wait for spring and to drive it again as even when it had blow shocks and poo poo brakes it was an absolute blast to drive on windy country roads.

Realized I had already posted my car history elsewhere. I haven't owned that many cars really and one I've had for a very long time now.quote:First car in 2000, a 1989 Mazda 626 Too many silver metallics in this list. I'd honestly like to replace the Yaris with a Saab 9000 as a commuting car as it's no longer profitable to run a diesel for me. A 97 or 98 with low mileage, manual 2.3 engine, don't care if it's high or low pressure turbo. But all the others are musts and absolutely not silver metallic.

It has received a lot of great reviews and some reviewers even like the turbo version more than the equivalent CX5 turbo version. I might be looking to replace my 2014 Grand Touring CX5 in a few years and was considering "downsizing" to the CX30.

Some Guy From NY posted:Why don't you like the CX-30? It has received a lot of great reviews and some reviewers even like the turbo version more than the equivalent CX5 turbo version. It's not bad, it's just kinda dead feeling. The interior is actually really nice, the steering wheel has a nice feel (but three spokes so you can't hold the bottom of the wheel ). The seats are comfortable and, unlike the subarus and toyotas, etc. are narrow enough a skinny person can comfortably use both arm rests. The transmission is always shifting, like all modern autos, and that drives me mad. it's better if you put it in sport mode. I guess it isn't a bad car, it looks good, i just ... i dunno. Not bonded with it.

After a month of delays and BS, we have a new car. My wife and I happened to mention we both liked this model a lot, but lamented they didn't come up much, in fact, CarMax only had 3 or 4 in the entire country. The next day I checked the local dealership on a whim. They had one. It hadn't even been through service yet. I test drove it, it was great. The sunshade wasn't working so they were going to address. Cue three rounds of them needing to acquire parts that were no longer stocked by GM to fix it, and here we are. Plenty of time to sell the 2005 Saab 9-3. So I give you, our new 2018 Buick TourX

Hell yeah. I considered one of those when I was also shopping for an E91 / F31. Seems like you can get real good deals on 'em. My biggest concern -- as you've already experienced -- would be parts availability because I guess it's basically just a rebadged Opel
