Having just moved to Ashfield, the thing I am dealing with here is roaches. Ther've always been pretty awful here and my flat hasn't been reno'd since it was built (50s). So, while charming, has a lot of hiding spaces. But they can't fucken resist poppin out when I am cooking spicy food, so quick drawing with the one-shot Mortein and the odd surprise raid on hidden areas has decimated their numbers dramatically since I have been here. I'll win this fucken war. Little bastards.

What you want is a chemical called Temprid, and from Bunnings buy a little chemical sprayer, Wear gloves, mask, ventilate the house, mix some up with water and spray it around the perimeter of your home, esp around the bottom of the doors. Every invertebrate going near that barrier will die. Should last six months to a year before needing a reapplication.

I had a pet roach when I was a kid. Rocky lived in an old fishbowl with mosquito netting in top. One day he escaped and I was informed roaches were no longer viable pets

I saw a thread on /r/Australia about feeding pigeons but it got negged to the ground and user deleted their profile. This reminded me of a bloke up the road who feeds a huge flock of them every day and that part of the suburb has them everywhere roosting. Whats the consensus on this? I'm of the opinion that they are taking the place of natives that I would prefer to be around. I am no expert on birbs so...just post!

One bottle would last you a lifetime, if you have an apartment I'd just use a rag to smear it outside the door frames, and maybe inside where the sink is, window sills. I wouldn't put it anywhere a cat could potentially ingest it. No siree
