Losing Ishikawa is concerning. Mind you, when it comes to a promotion I really enjoyed in the last 12 months every potential change is concerning. I wonder if this has anything to do with the deal to work with Actwres girlZ? Because that seems a bit of a slap in the face of the work Suwama & Shuji have done with Evolution, especially considering AWG's weird isolationism (& insistence they aren't a pro wrestling company. I never really understood that). The Big Dawg going isn't a huge loss in & of itself, because he's clearly on the downside of his career, same as both Yoshitatsu & Takao Omori. But at the same time, I've always kind of assumed he was involved backstage, certainly post TAJIRI, & especially with the dojo. (Ditto Omori) You can see how tagging with Ren Ayabe has really helped Ren grow as a big man wrestler. Ah, I dunno. I'm trying to take the attitude of not catastrophising & just enjoying what we've got. If they start losing the guys on the rise or in their prime, then I might change.

Anyway, All Japan have put out cards for their Korakuen double header

The Tokyo Sports article did mention the AWG partnership without informing the wrestlers as an aspect of this yes. They put up this video on Twitter

So it does seem like some changes are happening.

It's the fact they have done it twice this year. Two absolutely tremendous, heated battles but managing to feel quite different, at a huge part of that is on Nakajima. It was great

What was the endgame of Evolution supposed to be though, with all 3 (t h r e e) of their talents? Partnering with a joshi(with an asterisk, I guess, with AWG being the way it is) company seems like the only way forward if Evolution is ever supposed to be anything but a vanity project

E: Fell out of watching a lot of shows this year but going to say Mutoh vs Chono is the best in every category it's eligible for.
