Everything that they put in place to cheat Trump in 2020 was still used in 2022 to do the same to Kari Lake, and will no doubt be used again in 2024 to cheat all MAGA candidates (not just the presidency). The only fix for that is for SCOTUS to hear Trump's and Lake's election suits in an expedited fashion and make a ruling no later than summer 2024. My wife and I don't have broadcast or cable TV (for all the reasons you can well guess), and tonight we were hanging out playing a board game together and suddenly it was a few minutes to midnight, so we grabbed an iPad and did a quick lookup for whatever we could find that had the Times Square ball drop. Happened to be ABC. We watched the last 30 seconds of countdown, and the ball hit the bottom, and then we were subjected to this unwelcome image.

Under any other circumstances we wouldn't have had that channel on; the tsunami of unwelcome images that today comprises broadcast and cable TV channels is not something we want in our lives.

We learned our lesson tonight, you can be sure of that: EVEN 5 MINUTES IS TOO MUCH.

Joe Biden became the first person in history to figure out how to dramatically decrease inflation by recklessly printing money and lowering interest rates - two things famous for causing rapid deflation.

Not even getting into the fact that interest rates are at 22-year highs right now and haven't actually been dropped. The effective Fed rate in May 2020 was 0.06% and was 5.33% in December 2023. Not even a deceptively-worded framing that is pretty normal in politics, just full on living in opposite world.

The idea is that those are supposed to be bad things that will hurt the economy in the long run, sort of like the old nugget of "reckless government spending" on useful services somehow hurting us. Except in this case the writer doesn't seem to have any idea why or how those things are connected to inflation. So it kind of sounds like "Biden is recklessly causing inflation in order to fight inflation!"

Edit: This interpretation is weakened by the fact that "pumping oil" was also on that list.

That�s almost guaranteed, and instead of reducing fraud and corruption, it may actually increase it.

I mean, this freeper is right. The only reason J6 went down like it did is that there was no actual coherent plan. An actual planned attempt to disrupt Congress would have had a far more serious, comprehensive, and swift response than the slow-rear end bullshit we've gotten so far.
