The guy got to borrow a billion dollars because he's a celebrity who got famous because of a book chock full of lies and bad advice and a talk show host notorious for not doing her due diligence. No regular person gets that credit line. They get ground down in lawsuits and wage garnishments and have to file for bankruptcy way before that point.

It's unfortunately been one of the typical books purporting to manage money and build wealth since the 1990s. People who (supoosedly) want to help you but don't actually know the contents of the book happily promote it even though it's mostly garbage about real estate investing that's majorly out of date. Kiyosaki has been able to parlay the cred he got from the book to fuel an enriching career of borderline frauduelnt (if not actually fraudulent) paid courses and investment schemes.
