Honestly he’s never struck me as the “die on the field” type, at a certain point he’s richer and more beloved in Alabama than god and no amount more is worth free time to spend being a husband and grandpa without responsibilities

Also I’m sure ESPN will be sending a blank check in the mail for media appearances any day now

Having a center who couldn't snap the ball correctly probably drove him to the point of retiring. That and the thought of another year of Jalen Milroe.

I SAID WE'RE NOT GONNA BE FUCKING SUCK THIS YEAR!!!

Dude has nothing left to prove and clearly has a distaste for the direction of CFB with NIL and the weird new conferences. Good way to go out with pundits calling this year his best actual coaching job to get the team an SEC title and another playoff opportunity despite their myriad issues.

Jalen owns and would have put up heisman numbers with a good center

it can't be expressed how bad snapping effected literally every game

If Lane Kiffin can make Ole Miss a 10 win team I have to imagine he would be high on the list of candidates. Makes me wonder if he knew something and that is why he did not announce anything when he seems to have maxed out what he can do there.

Is Lane blocked by contracts from taking the Bama job?

Please God not Dabo.
