Last time I talked about fake xiaomi tablets on here I ended up getting a 10" Teclast M50 Pro and a 12.7" Lenovo afterward. The Teclast is 120 shipped, basically a decent screen with a pitiful chip inside, I let my kid use. I kind of regret it, cause it's not fast enough to play large movie files over plex. The Lenovo Xiaoxin tablet is really good, during holidays you can stack coupons and get it under $200. The OEM keyboard is expensive but you don't need it. It has a really bright 600 nit screen, really loud speaker, and a SD870 chip inside, fast enough to emulate all PS2 and half of the Switch games. I went on a cruise with it and I use it to watch videos all the time. Cruise disable their TV connector so I couldn't connect I own box to it, but the 13" screen is large enough. The only thing I don't like is whenever you wake up the bt keyboard, it switches to desktop mode and then you have to switch back to tablet mode manually. Maybe the xiaomi tablet doesn't do it, they also sell a SD870 variant.

I added something to my order to bump it over the line to get free upgrade to AliExpress standard shipping so I'd only have to wait 2 weeks... Then the extra thing didn't ship out at all and the other two items got shipped with the super budget "Cainiaio" shipping or whatever it is. Weird thing is that they left the "14 day delivery" guarantee on the orders It's annoying because if I knew I'd probably have spent the extra $5 instead

Bought some Aliexpress stuff: I was surprised the two that have boxes had boxes. The two bags are also bricks - both are D&D Mimic treasure chests another goon posted a week or so back. One is going to my nerd cousin, along with a Beholder that hasn't arrived yet. I also ordered a Breaking Bad RV that's going to a friend, which also hasn't yet arrived. I also got an email from Temu wanting me back with some silly discounts, so I bought like $20 worth of stuff (6 items). I got the shipping notice the next day, should be on the way now.

Had a moment to build the mimic chest. Lotta parts: Instructions were a nice PDF from one of the LEGO designer apps, so nice and clear.  3 parts extra:  Even comes with contents:   Nice build! I would have preferred two hinges for the lid, but it's fine if you don't futz with it a bunch. I did look for a MOC for this so I could pay the creator if it was stolen. I found several other variations, but I couldn't find this exact one.

That mimic looks great, I’d buy one if I wasn’t trying to limit my Lego purchases until I get back some shelf space for them. After the failed start on the TG271 which had the order cancelled and refunded, I ordered the TG117 that was recommended and it arrived very quick. It’s loud enough for all my kitchen noise and small enough for the window sill where I wanted it to be, and it’s pretty good. One teeny-tiny, not-even-really-an-issue issue is that you can’t plug in the 3.5mm and power at the same time, I thought I’d leave it permanently plugged in and since I have a couple of iOS lightning to 3.5mm adaptors I could plug the phone into it. I’m just using bluetooth instead so no problem, all in all it’s a great little speaker.

"25 minutes fast heating" tells me it's not for plopping a towel into when you hit the shower. Meanwhile the towel rack I posted will warm up in 2 minutes and you get a toasty towel by the time your shower is done, without danger of legionnaire's disease or something like that. (Plus it will dry your towel after you've used it.)
